MATTER a.    Properties: ·         Volume: is the space that an object takes up. We measure volume in litres. ·         Mass: is the amount of matter that exists in an object. We measure mass in kilograms. b.    Types ·         Pure substance: only one compound. ·         Mixture: matter is made up of two or more substances.
